Reduced our feeding costs
Growing excellent yields of fodder beet has reduced our feeding costs for both cows and sheep. It allows us to keep cows out for considerably longer producing worthwhile savings in straw, bedding and machinery costs. The sheep are benefiting from improved grass silage along with daily moves on fodder beet. This has greatly reduced the cost of bought in feeds.
