Management
Best used within a mixture of complimentary species. Slower recovery from grazing compared with ryegrass so care should be taken not to overgraze.

Can be slow to establish but it will potentially outyield perennial ryegrass on poorer areas of ground. When combined within a mixture especially with timothy it can contribute to the production of quality hay.
