Triumph is a newer swede that combines very high yields with optimum bulb dry matter and good winter leaf retention.
Triumph has high tolerance to dry rot and mildew and has, in SAC trials, shown good resistance to clubroot.

Triumph is a new variety that I decided to try out this year. With its high leaf retention and moderate to high DM content, I put this variety in as I aim to graze this field with ewes and hoggs after the 1st March complying with the AECS. I sowed out this field of Triumph swedes on the 23rd June, by broadcast sowing 1kg/acre. A measurement was taken in the middle of November resulting in 14.5T DM/ha. I am delighted with how this field has performed so far, given the later than normal sowing date. Swedes are an important winter feed for us here at Balmacaan, as it keeps the sheep well fed and conditioned through the winter.
