About the mix
It will provide nesting and foraging habitats for pollinators, small mammals, farmland birds and beneficial insects.
- Creates tussocky grass which is an ideal habitat for invertebrates
- It provides a cover for ground nesting birds
- Prevent pollutants and nutrients runoff into local waterways. Holds soil in the field instead of erosion.
- Allow for an integrated pest management approach as this can provide a habitat for insects which will control pest numbers
