Management

Heavy grazings will sereverly damage the plant population so it should be rotational grazed whenever possible. It needs to be shallowly sown into a warm, fine and firm seedbed.

Birdsfoot trefoil contains tannins which will reduce risk of bloat, increase protein uptake, and has an anti-parasitic effect.
