About the mix
- This is a medium growing mixture, around 0.5 – 0.8m.
- This mid-height, strikingly rich mixture is designed to attract butterflies, pollinating insects and in general, small invertebrate or vertebrate fauna. This mixture will provide predatory insects with food and water. It will also provide a food source for many vertebrates.
- Biodiversity contains useful plants which act on the soil; the roots of these plants promote the micro fauna, soil aeration and the decomposition of organic matter. The inclusion of Lupins in the mixture will enrich soil fertility because these plants are leguminous and have the ability to ‘fix’ nitrogen from the atmosphere.
- Annuals, Bi-annuals and perennials
- Sowing: April to mid-June at 2g/m²
- Flowering: Mid-June to late-Sept the first year, then April to July the following years
