Horses are extremely tight grazers and combined with small hooves they require grass mixtures that have been designed to their specific characteristics.
These mixtures will produce dense hard wearing swards that will cope with the demands of a horse paddock. All will provide good grazing and some will also give the option for a crop of hay.
The mixtures are predominately made up of grass species such as diploid ryegrass, creeping red fescue, smooth stalked meadow grass and timothy.
