Nectar Rich Mixtures
Nectar-rich mixtures establish habitats with high nectar values, supporting a wide range of pollinating insects. Their red clover and vetch content enhances nitrogen fixation, while the brassica component contributes to strong root structure, improving soil health and nitrogen retention.
Wild Bird Cover
Where establishment of wild bird seed mixtures is permitted, our mixture offers winter cover and winter feed that supports wild bird populations.
Herb & Legume Mixtures
Herb and legume mixtures offer a low input, however, environmentally, and financially sustainable forage source for livestock due to nitrogen fixing properties which reduces the use of artificial fertilisers and captures carbon into the ley.
Cereal Crops
Cereal crops including barley, forage rye, oats, triticale & wheat and which scheme they comply with.
Buffer/Margin Crops & Habitat Strips
Having margin crops and habitat strips surrounding your fields on your farm will prevent run off of nutrients such as NPK which will protect local waterways from pollution. These strips also protect soil from erosion as they have good soil structure and provide a habitat for promoting wildlife numbers if they are undisturbed from poaching or compaction.
