DUART (Ireland)

DUART (Ireland)

John Lynch manages a herd of 120 cross bred dairy cows. His objective is to produce as much milk as possible from grass through a high stocking rate and modest levels of meal feeding. His farm is partly low lying with heavy soils. The Duart mixture has performed well for John and has produced swards with great ground cover, excellent palatability and quick regrowth. ‘I am are very pleased with the performance of Duart, it gives a dense palatable sward that’s suitable for early grazing’.
